[VAcourier] Cancellation of the Capital of the Confederacy Parade and Memorial Service scheduled for April 6, 2008

This is the official notification of the cancellation of the Capital of 
the Confederacy Parade and Memorial Service which was schedule for April 
6, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. This cancellation was due in part to poor 
pre-registration numbers and a total lack of participation. Parade 
organizers felt that it was unwise and potentially embarrassing as well 
as costly due to the low turnout to continue as planned. We are sorry 
for any inconvenience this may have caused for those who had planned to 
travel to this event.

The cancellation will be posted on the home page of the Division Web 
site. We thank you for your assistance in spreading the word to let 
others in your camp know about the cancellation.
