[VAcourier] Declaration of Intent to Run for Virginia Division Commander

Compatriots of the Virginia Division SCV,

It has been my great honor to serve on the Virginia Division Executive 
Council as 1st Lt. Commander for the past 2 years. Much has been 
accomplished but we still have a long way to go. A solid foundation has 
been established during the past several administrations of this 
Division and I feel that we are heading in the right direction but I 
believe we still have some serious work and challenges ahead.

At this time, I would like to formally announce my intention to seek the 
office of Commander of the Virginia Division Sons of Confederate 
Veterans. In communicating with many fellow SCV members, I feel that we 
must stay the course and work together as one to accomplish our goals. 
Many committees are already in place and continue to do battle for our 
Confederate ancestors.

With God's help and your prayers and efforts, we will see many of our 
projects, hopes and dreams completed in the very near future.
