that this newspaper will no longer provide any regular coverage concerning
Civil War related stories. I'm pretty sure that Linda Wheeler's stories were
very popular considering all the Civil War re-enactment groups. Sons of
Confederate Veterans' organizations, the United Daughters of the Confederacy
memberships, the well represented Sons of Union Veterans of the United
States, the several Civil War Round Tables in the region and so on.
