Below is another (TV) report on the damage done at Oakwood.  Two weeks 
after the fact, the city has decided to attempt to catch the vandals.

Vandals Destroy Area Cemetery

Vandals are defacing one of Richmond's oldest cemeteries. Someone went 
on a destructive rampage at the historic Oakwood Cemetery on Nine Mile 
Road earlier this month.  The vandals knocked over more than 40 
headstones.  The cemetery is owned by the city and serves as the final 
resting place for generations of Richmonders, including nearly 17,000 
Confederate soldiers. Caretakers say police will add more patrols to try 
and catch the vandals. Meanwhile, city workers are putting in extra time 
to try and clean up the mess.
