"Christianity Today" Magazine has published an article on its website 
praising "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" and its author, Julia Howe. 
The problem, of course, is that Howe wasn't Christian, and the song 
isn't a hymn. Rather, it is a propaganda piece encouraging the violent 
deaths of Southern soldiers. Howe was a Unitarian, a faith that denies 
the divinity of Christ. Please click on the link in the left-hand column 
to send an email to the editor of "Christianity Today" asking that the 
piece either be removed, or that they tell the truth about Howe and her 
"hymn". Be nice, but insistent.
