Gentlemen
 
The reason remarks by Democratic presidential hopeful Joseph R. Biden, 
Jr. Senator from Delaware deserve a reply from our people.
 
 
Senator Biden's comments:
 
      "I think the Confederate flag should be kept off South Carolina's 
Statehouse grounds. If I were a state legislator, I'd vote for it to 
move off the grounds out of the state."
 
This comment was made at a MLK day celebration in SC
 
After you e-mail him please take the time to print off the e-mail and 
mail it to him. I will follow it up by trying to get to speak to him 
personally. We want him to know that he cannot come South and make these 
kind of remarks without getting a back lash.
 
If he can make these kind of remarks and does not hear from anyone he 
will definitely make some more along these lines in his presidential 
nomination bid.
