Gentlemen,

Yesterday the Senate Transportation Committee unanimously voted to 
reauthorize the release of the Commemorative Robert E. Lee License 
Plates SB803.  Please consider thanking the members of the committee.  
Also, please keep the plate in mind.  We are near our goal for the 
number of applications that must be submitted in order to have the 
plates struck.  However, due to typographical errors, etc. many of those 
applications may be tossed out or have to be refiled, so we would like 
to have at least 100 excess applications.  Forms and more information 
can be found on the Division website at www.scvva.org

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. On receipt of an application and following the provisions of § 
46.2-725 <http://leg1.state.va.us/cgi-bin/legp504.exe?000+cod+46.2-725> 
of the Code of Virginia, the Commissioner of the Department of Motor 
Vehicles shall issue to the applicant special license plates honoring 
Robert E. Lee.
