Opportunity for Camps without a Website

Many people know me and know that I actively promote getting our message out
to the public. One of the most affordable tools we have at our disposal is
using the internet. But many have little internet knowledge or the volunteer
services of a webmaster. Thus many Camps do not have a website.

In an effort to help the Camps that would like to get started on the
internet I have put together a Camp (or Brigade) starter site. If you can
generate a document using a word processing package (Word, Notepad, etc) you
can update the website using your browser by copy & paste. No HTML knowledge
required. In addition many pages dealing with national information from GHQ
are included on an ongoing basis. Initially all you need to do is add
information about your Camp or Brigade to have an informative website.

A weekly newsletter (starting by December 8) will discuss many internet
related topics and how to build both member and public distribution lists.
Since this starter website has SCV logos it is only available to SCV Camps,
Brigades and Committees that are in good standing. For more information:
